Workwood is established as an excellent provider of regular maintenance to many different types of client.  We offer care for private gardens, estates and commercial grounds of any shape and size.  We provide a complete service and are able to assist in the upkeep of your plot whether it’s an hour a fortnight or a larger contract.

Regardless of whether you’re a keen amateur short on time, someone who is less experienced needing guidance or a business client with an image to maintain, we will work with you to ensure that your garden and grounds look the best they possibly can.  We always move forward with our sites and work to improve them over time.

Typical tasks undertaken include.

• lawn mowing and strimming
• weeding and spraying
• pruning and hedgecutting
  
• leaf clearance and tidying
  
• fertilizing and mulching
  
• pest and disease control

Normally we offer maintenance on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly basis.  These timings are however not fixed and we are always flexible and able to fit you in to our maintenance routine.

The Process

Site Visit
After contact is made a site meeting is arranged which will usually last for around an hour.  This will normally involve an informal chat and walk around the garden.  This is an opportunity to discuss ideas for your garden. 
A brief is taken and we will assess your site to establish exactly what the requirements and overall maintenance needs are. 

Formulate a Plan
Having assessed your site we are able to put together a proposal for maintenance.  The details will be dependant on things such as the size, maturity and current state of the plot.
Sometimes it is advisable to perform a ‘one off’ tidy to bring a site up to a standard which can then be maintained and over time improved upon.

Written Quote
A written quote will be forwarded to you for your consideration and will outline the proposed ideas, details and frequency of visit for the site.

We also provide a ‘one off’ service.  If you have recently moved and inherited an overgrown wilderness or are planning to sell your property and need it looking at its best we can clear and tidy a garden or site for you. 
It may just be that you’ve been to busy of late to tend the garden, things have got out of control and you need a helping hand to bring it up to scratch.

As with all companies transporting any waste we are registered with the Environment Agency.
All our green waste is properly recycled.  We are Registered Waste Carrier Licence Number CB/HN5819SE.

We always remember that we are privileged to be working in your garden and on your site.  We also know that you will use and look at the finished result long after the work is complete and we are gone.  As well as being polite, friendly and efficient we always maintain safe and proper working practices and will leave your plot spotlessly tidy.
